What is the difference between ASM and VRM?

• ASM, or Accident Scene Management, is another term for a Live Accident Scene Tow. Select this option as the Assignment Type when creating a case that involves towing a vehicle from the accident scene to the repair destination.
  • NOTE: ASM can also be selected as the Assignment Type for stolen vehicle claims

• VRM, or Vehicle Release Management, is another term for a Tow from Business, Storage, Residence. Select this option when creating a case that involves releasing a vehicle from storage or another location and delivering it to the repair destination.
