Secondary tow

This is a service type that can be selected in Swoop.

Tow outs from temporary holding facilities (impound lots) to transport a vehicle to a new location such as a repair facility.

Examples:

• Vehicle in an accident needs a secondary tow to a body shop
• Vehicle impounded because it was stolen or abandoned and needs to be reunited with owner or lienholder

Note: secondary tows often require impound release fees (impound tow, storage fees) as well as release forms (hold harmless, proof of ownership)
