APPROVING ADVANCE CHARGES

Agero obtains the breakdown of any release charges associated with moving a vehicle from storage/impound.

The Agero case owner will seek approval from the client prior to payment if the release charges exceed a previously established limit set by the client.

Once Agero itemizes the Advance Charges and submits the request, charges can be approved by locating the case in the AM Dashboard

  1. Locate the case through the Claims Detail section. The case can also be located by doing a direct search on many search criteria.
  2. Once the case has been located and selected, you will see the Case Details. Scroll down to the Advance Charges section and click to expand. You will then see each charge itemized. If an approval request has been submitted, you will see a blue Approval button
  3. Once a request for approval of charges has been sent by Agero, the request will be logged as an activity in the Case History section.
  4. Once approved, an Agero agent will work with the service provider to release the vehicle, pay the advance charges and move the vehicle.

An Agero associate will continue to attempt to contact the client approver until the charges are approved or declined.

NOTE: To avoid unnecessary case delays, please be sure to follow-up with the Agero associate as soon as possible, preferably using the Contact Agero button.
