Hagerty Partners with Agero to Bring a Digital Roadside Assistance Experience to Classic Car Enthusiasts

MEDFORD, MA – September 13, 2017 – Agero, Inc., the largest B2B provider of roadside assistance solutions to automotive manufacturers and insurance providers in North America, announced today that it has been selected by Hagerty, the global leader of collector car insurance, to provide premium roadside assistance to Hagerty Plus members after an extensive review of providers in the industry.  The partnership will extend Agero’s industry-leading roadside services to more than one million classic and exotic vehicles to give Hagerty members peace-of-mind while they pursue their passion.

Immediately, Hagerty Plus members will have access to Agero’s award winning services, including the ability to track the process of their requests from their smartphone, with a central digital location to review the key information on their event with the click of a button. In addition to services such as lockout assistance, tire changes, fuel delivery and battery jump starts, Agero roadside assistance network will deliver flatbed towing 24/7 throughout all 50 states to get members back on the road.

“Drivers of classic and collector cars are a unique class of auto owners, and they expect the services they receive to be as high-quality and distinct as possible,” said Cathy Orrico, Chief Client Officer, Agero. “Our industry-leading roadside assistance services incorporate the automated efficiency of the latest digital capabilities with the personalization enabled by a human element to provide a full-service customer journey, optimal for drivers who have a special relationship with their vehicles.”

In addition to the services provided by Agero’s optimized digital capabilities, Hagerty members will be served by a dedicated team of agents specifically trained to support luxury and classic cars, helping to further put their minds at ease during difficult times, such a mechanical breakdown or accident.

“When one of our members is experiencing a roadside incident, we have one chance to deliver an excellent experience that puts them at ease,” said Eric Kurt, Vice President of Roadside at Hagerty. “Agero’s capabilities with live event tracking from the time the service call is initiated until the vehicle is delivered to its end destination will be critical in turning an unpleasant moment into a positive experience. Their combination of technology solutions and experience within the industry is what led us to ultimately choose Agero as our partner.”
