Agero Celebrates Two 2026 Herizon Award Honorees

Sarah Magluyan named a winner and Kristin Costas recognized as a finalist for their contributions to innovation in roadside assistance.

At Agero, great ideas start with great people, and we're proud to celebrate two of our own who are making a difference.

Sarah Magluyan and Kristin Costas, both Senior Directors of Product Management at Agero, have been recognized in the 2026 Herizon Awards, presented by the Business Intelligence Group. Sarah was named a winner in the Emerging Leader category, while Kristin earned finalist honors in the Established Leader category.

The Herizon Awards celebrate women who are driving meaningful change within their teams, organizations, and industries. For Sarah and Kristin, that means using technology to solve real-world challenges, creating better experiences for customers and service providers, and helping the people around them grow.

Sarah Magluyan: Making Roadside Assistance Smarter and Simpler

When a motorist needs roadside assistance, the right technology can make all the difference. Sarah is helping Agero rethink how that technology works behind the scenes.

Sarah leads initiatives to improve how Agero manages, dispatches, and pays its network of roadside service providers. Her team's work is making processes faster and more efficient, including automating additional charge requests so that more than 95% can now be handled through self-service.

Sarah's impact also goes beyond technology. She's a dedicated mentor who challenges her team to ask better questions, think creatively, and grow as product leaders.

"Sarah is making roadside assistance faster and easier for motorists and providers alike. At Agero she leads technology initiatives that improve service and develop emerging product leaders," said Russ Fordyce, Chief Recognition Officer, Business Intelligence Group.

Kristin Costas: Putting People at the Center of Innovation

For Kristin, great technology starts with understanding the people who use it.

Kristin is helping lead a major modernization of Agero's contact center technology, making it easier for more than 1,000 agents to support motorists when they need help most.

Her team's work has contributed to an approximately 20% improvement in agent effort, while laying the groundwork for simpler workflows, better tools, and more responsive customer service.

Kristin brings that same people-first approach to leadership. Through hands-on coaching and mentorship, she helps team members build confidence, sharpen their skills, and take the next steps in their careers.

“Kristin Costas shows what people-first leadership looks like in action – modernizing technology at scale while never losing sight of the agents and drivers it's built to serve,” the Herizon Award judges shared. “Her commitment to measuring what matters and growing the leaders around her makes her a standout nominee for this recognition.”
