Forbes Honors Agero in Distinguished ‘America’s Best Midsize Employers’ List for Third Consecutive Year

Forbes recognition adds to growing list of accolades Agero has already received in 2024

MEDFORD, Mass. – May 8, 2024 - Agero, the leading white-label provider of digital driver assistance services and software for the majority of automotive and auto insurance brands, was once again named to the annual Forbes Best Midsize Employers list. Recognized for its dedication to cultivating a thriving workplace culture and exceptional employee engagement, 2024 marks the third consecutive year Agero has received this honor.

In partnership with Statista, Forbes conducted an independent survey of more than 170,000 U.S.-based workers at American companies to identify its list of best employers. The survey prompted respondents to rate their employer and asked if they would recommend the company to others in their respective industries. New to the methodology this year is the inclusion of data from the past three years to better identify companies that have been rated well consistently over time. Across 26 industries, Forbes awarded 1,000 employers – 400 midsize employers and 600 large employers.

“We are thrilled to be recognized for the third straight year as a leading employer in the U.S. by Forbes alongside other respected brands that also value the importance of an employee-first work environment,” said Emma Barnes Brown, Agero’s Chief People Officer. “Our mission to transform the driving experience and keep drivers safe is made possible because we rely on a team that is collectively unmatched in its talent and commitment to transforming the driver assistance industry. We want to thank all our dedicated employees for continuing to foster an innovative, supportive and thriving workplace where individuals can do the best work of their careers.”

Agero has led the driver assistance industry for more than 50 years, covering two out of every three new passenger vehicles and two-thirds of the country's top auto insurers. In supporting 115 million drivers, Agero handles more than 12 million breakdown and accident events annually.

The Forbes recognition adds to the list of accolades Agero has received in 2024. Earlier this year, Built In Boston named Agero to its 2024 list of Best Large Companies to Work For in Boston and Ragan added Agero to their 2024 list of Top Places to Work for Employee Wellbeing. In January, Frost & Sullivan named Agero its 2023 North American Company of the Year in the digitized roadside assistance services industry.
