Company earns placement on Forbes list, adding to recent “best places to work” recognition
MEDFORD, Mass. – June 2, 2022 – Agero, whose leading B2B software and services enable auto manufacturers, fleets, insurers and others to support their customers at every stage of vehicle ownership, was included in the Forbes Best Midsize Employers list for 2022, ranking number 264 in the nation based on employee survey feedback.
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to compile the list by surveying 60,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees. Participants were asked to anonymously rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family and to nominate organizations other than their own. The final list ranks the 500 midsize employers that received the most recommendations. Respondents of the survey were asked to rate how likely they’d be to recommend their employer. They were also asked to rate their companies on factors such as working conditions, development opportunities and compensation.
“We are extremely proud to be recognized as one of the best midsize employers by Forbes and to have our name included alongside other top employers who share in our values of offering a supporting, challenging, rewarding and high-quality work environment,” said Emma Barnes Brown, Agero’s Chief People Officer. “We celebrate the dedication and commitment of our employees – especially as they’ve navigated the complexities of the pandemic these past two years – and strive to provide a healthy, productive and balanced work environment for everyone.”
Agero has led the driver assistance industry for nearly 50 years, supporting more than 115 million drivers each year. In addition to responding to more than 12 million breakdown and accident events each year, the company also provides consumer affairs, connected vehicle and vehicle transport logistics support on behalf of the world’s leading automobile manufacturers, insurance carriers and other diversified clients.
Earlier this year, Agero was honored by Built in as part of its 2022 Best Places to Work Awards, earning placement on its list of Boston Best Places to Work, Boston Best Large Companies to Work For, SF Best Large Companies to Work For, and Boston Best Paying Companies.
