Deadhead mileage

“Deadhead mileage" refers to  the miles traveled from the destination where the service was completed back to the Independent Contractor’s facility (for tow services, this is measured from the drop-off destination to the IC’s facility; for roadside assistance, this is measured from the disablement location back to the Independent Contractor’s facility.
