However, what often goes unnoticed are the significant hazards linked with these roadside occurrences, which can result in severe injuries or even fatalities. The Federal Highway Administration reports a staggering figure: Over 6,200 pedestrian fatalities and 75,000 pedestrian injuries are attributed to roadway crashes annually.
However, there are precautions you can take to ensure the safety for everyone involved in a roadside event--whether it be the driver, passenger, or service provider, or others on and off the road.
